"It's not how big the house is, it's how happy the home is."
A sort of recap of my past week...
Wednesday... Today is a definite catch up day!! Hubby had a four day weekend from Friday thru Monday...then yesterday I had an appointment with a naturopathic doctor {I'll do a post JUST for this soon} which ended up lasting like almost 6 hours!! Not the norm...we are friends who were catching up since we hadn't seen each other for a long time...she didn't have any other clients other than me that day!! But, now my chores are all behind!! I was SUPPOSED TO go grocery shopping today, but I really just need to get things back in order before I can go and do that!! Plus...I really am not feeling the whole grocery trip thing!! It is WEDNESDAY...know what that means?? COFFEE DATE NIGHT!!! Thursday...
It is such a pretty day today!! Think it will be a perfect day to take Zach, Liam & myself out into the world!! We don't do much of that anymore, really...but, I will make an exception for such a pretty day as today!!

Went to a park so Liam could do a little practice with his skateboard!
Friday...
Still trying to get caught up this week!! Not having Monday to do my chores like I normally do threw me way off my groove for this WHOLE week!! Deep sigh. So thankful we are to the end of my Hubby's work week!! Definitely looking forward to the weekend together!! Saturday...
Got some ribs cooking in bbq sauce in the crock pot!! Easy dinner on a Saturday for the win!!

Set up some Italian classes for myself on our local library's website....well, not exactly ON their website, but patrons can use Transparent Languages to learn foreign languages for FREE by using their library card!! Such a sweet deal, right!?!? So I'm taking advantage of this opportunity!! I'm HOPING to talk Danny into learning Italian along with me!! Then we can whisper sweet nothings to each other...in Italian...to each other!! Maybe even a future adventure to Italy for us?? Fingers crossed!!!
Sunday...
Is it weird to have WOOD COOKING ON THE STOVE??

Danny took some time to work on some of his fish tanks this weekend. One of the things you have to do is "cook the wood"...it helps get things out of it that you don't want in your tank, and affecting your water parameters!! I always think it is so strange seeing this going on!!
Monday...
Not much going on today, TRYING to play catch up from the weekend. I know it is SO very important to do, but I'm still not in the good groove I was the week before last. Deep sigh.
Tuesday...
Another "warmer" day...which didn't really feel all that warm, but it was 48 degrees which is the highest it's been in a bit!! We headed back to the park...this time meeting up another family we haven't seen since a while before Covid hit!! It was great to catch up!! Stopped in at WalMart to pick up a couple things, which included a new cute little notebook & colored pens...

Not exactly sure what I'm going to use this for, but I felt inspired to buy this to have for myself!! Maybe a way to keep myself on track with my homemaking?? Chores & such that need done?? A nice little place to keep some checklists?? Gratitude journal?? The possibilities are endless!!
Being creative...
Liam decided to get started on making his license plate armor!! Always awesome when your older brother is willing to help you out with your projects!! What I've been watching... This week has been Floor is Lava on Netflix! It's a fun game show!! There are these crazy obstacle courses these teams try to get across. The team with the most people who make it to the finish & the fastest time wins! The big goal...not to touch the "floor"...because the FLOOR IS LAVA!!! From the reading nook...
I've been TRYING to carve out some time to sit and work my way thru The Untethered Soul by Michael A Singer.
What it says about this book on their website...
"What would it be like to free yourself from limitations and soar beyond your boundaries? What can you do each day to discover inner peace and serenity? The Untethered Soul-now a New York Times bestseller-offers simple yet profound answers to these questions. Whether this is your first exploration of inner space, or you've devoted your life to the inward journey, this book will transform your relationship with yourself and the world around you. You'll discover what you can do to put an end to the habitual thoughts and emotions that limit your consciousness." {Read more HERE!}
That's all I've got for this week!!
